Business consultant - Finance

Location: 100 % Remote (UK)
Employment type: Full time

Overall Objective

An analytical and communicative consultant with strong financial expertise and a good understanding of manufacturing companies. As a finance focused consultant, you will support customers in optimizing their financial processes, from accounting and reporting to product costing and profitability analysis, in connection with ERP implementations.

Background & Experience – Requirements

• Professional background in finance roles within manufacturing, e.g. CFO, business controller, finance manager, or similar.
• Solid knowledge of accounting, financial flows, and reporting in a production company.
• Strong understanding of financial regulation, product costing, inventory valuation, and cost drivers.
• Experience working with ERP systems (preferably ERP with manufacturing focus).
• Ability to manage projects and work independently.
• Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written.

Background & Experience – Merits

• Previous experience as a “super user” or responsible for ERP implementation.
• Specialist knowledge in financial consolidation, group reporting, or advanced product costing.
• Experience in change management and business development within finance.
• Skilled in training and supporting users in finance-related system functionality.

• Project management – lead and deliver projects on time, budget, and quality.
• Business analysis – map customer needs, financial processes, identify gaps, and propose improvements.
